STEMcx Summer Book Club: Black STEM Heroes

Every Tuesday and Thursday evening at 7:00 PM during the month of July, students will explore the lives and achievements of a different Black STEM Hero. Participants will read and discuss engaging books focused on each scientist, inventor, engineer, or innovator while also completing hands-on STEM experiments and engineering challenges connected to the weekly theme.

We will be learning about Dr.Patricia Bath, Garrett Morgan, Charles Henry Turner, and Madame CJ Walker.

All sessions will be held virtually. At the end of June, students will pick up their program supply bags, books, reading materials, and activity supplies needed for the program.
